RESERVED Inlay water-bird ring
Name: Rainbow Ring
Story: From an unknown artist’s workbench in the Southwest, this Peyote Bird was born of patience, silver, and a rainbow of hand-cut stones—turquoise, coral, jet, and shell. Each piece was carefully shaped and fitted, like puzzle pieces holding a story of protection and power. With its bold wings and bright colors, it carries the spirit of flight, strength, and joy. Once polished to perfection, it made its way through trading hands, admired for its beauty, until landing in our collection. Now, it’s ready to spread its wings once more—bringing color, tradition, and a spark of waterbird magic to its next keeper.
A Peyote Bird or the Water Bird plays a significant part in the Native American Indian Church Peyote meetings and, in fact, since the early 1900’s has been the symbol of the NAC. The Peyote/Water Bird is not a Southwest tradition, but one of the Plains Indians.
